Trump official says Virginia's clean energy policies drive up electric bills, not AI data centers

U.S. Interior Secretary Doug Burgum told 7News Nick Minock that no one’s electricity bill has increased due to data centers, but rather, electricity bills have risen in some states, such as Virginia, because they are focusing on solar and wind energy instead of cheaper sources.
