In this video, we will talk about the simplest growth hack technique out there that all product managers and marketers are aware of but very few actually use it.
This simple technique can help increase website visitors, increase click-through rates and also increase conversions on your website/product.
It's called: Content/Language Market Fit. It refers to the language you use to describe your product and market to potential customers/users in such a way that it resonates with them and motivates them to give it a try. This includes language in all forms of communication - website, Instagram ads, print ads, emails and so on. No matter how your potential customer discovers the product, the first text they see must send the right message fast. Remember, the average attention span is less than 8 seconds.
It’s difficult and not an exact science. However, you don’t exactly need to be Jobs.
The answer is experimentation, it’s a breeze to run AB tests on content.
Use google optimize, optimizely, Visual website optimizer and so many other tools out there. Write 25 different headlines. see language customers use to describe your product, see how they talk about it on social media, on comments to your posts, product reviews. draw comments from customer care surveys and read their transcripts. can simply call customers to ask how they describe your product to friends to convey the benefits. Run them for the same audience, tally the time spent on the website, session duration, pages/session, bounce rate, etc.
Remember, a good headline can be the difference between 1,000 and 1,000,000 people engaging with your website.
