In this tutorial, I'm going to show you how to figure out the

So to get started we first need to figure out what is the time of the day or the day of the week that your audience is most active on Facebook or Instagram and to do that you go to your Facebook page and click on insights. Once you're under insights you would want to go under posts and here you will be able to see what is the best day of the week, when your users are most active. For me as you can see that more or less every day of the week my users are there available on Facebook but if you break it down by time of day what you will see is that post 10:00 p.m. till up to 6-7 a.m. in the morning there is very little visibility that my posts will have but at 11:00 a.m. or mostly around 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. is where my posts will be able to reach its full potential so this is probably the best time of the day to create ads or posts on my Facebook page.

Now let me just quickly show you how to see the same data on your Instagram profile. Remember you do need to have a business account to do this. Once you're here click on this data icon on the top right corner of the screen just beside the username. Once you click on this you will reach the insights tab. Here there are all kinds of data that you can see but what we are looking for is under this audience tab. So go under audience, scroll all the way down to the bottom and here I can see the hours of the day when my users are most active - this is on Saturdays - as you can see they're most active around 12:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. and not so active during the extreme early morning hours of the day at 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. I can switch to different days. I can also see this data for just the days of the week by clicking on this days button here and I can see that my users are most active on Friday. So this is how you can see what is the best time to post on Instagram or create Instagram ads.

Alright now that we know what is the best time of the day to create Facebook and Instagram posts and ads let me quickly show you how you can edit your ad group and make sure that the ads are getting served at only those time of the day and days of the week that you wanted to run for. So quickly go under ads manager.
So next time you're creating a campaign Let me setup something for traffic very quickly. Let's go straight into budget and schedule and here this is the option you are looking for - ad scheduling. You want to run ads on a specific schedule but this only works with a lifetime budget so let's select a lifetime budget.
Now you can see I can select to run ads on a schedule. Make sure you select to use viewers time zone because your audience could be in various parts of the world and you would want them to see the ad based on their own time zone. Here you can now start selecting the hours when you want your ads to run.
Predominantly this is what I think works for my audience but you can select anything that you really want and make sure that your ads are only displayed during the hours you are scheduling it for.
