The name Panjshanbe means "Thursday" in Tajik, reflecting its historical peak trading day. But these days, the market operates daily.

Today, Panjshanbe Bazaar stands as one of the largest and most vibrant markets in Tajikistan and Central Asia.

You'll find lots of fresh produce and plenty of cooking stations.

A great place to stroll through the market, haggle, eat and enjoy the vibe.
