Judith Skinner invented the skinner blend which allows us to more quickly and efficiently create gradient blends. Carol Simmons created an adaptation to the skinner blend that allows you to create more evenly blended gradients so that one color doesn't dominate the entire sheet of clay before you see the blending of colors. This tutorial will explain in depth what the Simmon's Skinner Blend Clay Technique is, how to create a Simmon's Blend and examples of multiple different ways you can create a Simmons Skinner Blend.
