We really work these over during the year. We deal with salt air, high humidity and more parades in a year than most bands march in a decade.
So, we replace our battery percussion a little more often than most places have to. This year the carriers began to fail - we did make it through Mardi Gras (we had some worries about that) and we ordered new instruments which we will use starting in the Fall.
