Meet JF-17 Thunder That Myanmar Said "Junk" Fighter Jets

Multi-role fighter planes, JF-17 Thunder, supplied to Myanmar by Pakistan were declared unfit and the military junta has sent a "stern message" to Islamabad to answer for the mess.

The manufacturer Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) claims that JF-17 Thunder is an advanced multi-role fighter aircraft. It says if the JF-17 possesses excellent air-to-air and air-to-surface combat capabilities. The state-of-the art avionics, optimally integrated sub-systems, computerized flight controls and capability to employ latest weapons provides decisive advantage to JF-17 over adversaries of same class.

Pakistan supplied many JF-17 Thunder combat aircraft to Myanmar between 2019 and 2021.
