Is Harlequin Syndrome permanent or will my child grow out of it?

Harlequin Syndrome affects about 10% of newborns and is most common in pre-term infants. It's usually seen as intense deep reddening on one side and blanching on the other and is usually noted in the first few days of life but can happen up to about three weeks after birth. This is benign and usually doesn't cause any issues and will go away. This should not be confused with Harlequin of the fetus which is a rare and in most cases lethal condition. If you have any other specific questions about this and how it's going to affect your daughter I recommend talking to her pediatrician. But if you have any other questions for me feel free to ask them on our Facebook page and recommend us to your friends and family too.
