Tumble Dryers:
Running cost - approx 35p per hour
Price - £200-£1000
Pros - Does not require hanging clothes, fast drying
Cons - Expensive, ruins most clothes, large dimensions, high embodied carbon, installation required

Dehumidifiers:
Running cost - approx 2.4p per hour
Price - £50-£250
Pros - Affordable, compact, maintains healthy humidity (no heating required), no installation
Cons - Requires hanging clothes
