UPDATING old 12V, RV lights to Modern LED fixtures

I'm going to share how we updated our RV inside lights with modern LED fixtures. It's an easy DIY project that Joanie & I have been wanting to do for a long time & we’re finally getting around to it.

We’re going to cover removing the—old out dated RV light fixtures—and install new contemporary RV LED light fixtures. This is an easy DIY job and I’m sure there are many of you that have been wanting to do this too. I’m also going to cover the reasons why and the importance of changing out all you incandescent bulbs to LED’s. We changed out all our interior RV incandescent bulbs 4 years ago to LED’s. We had 5 different types of incandescent bulbs at the time with different types of bases. There were 78 interior bulbs total. We now draw a fraction of amps from our battery bay using our interior lights and LED's do not put out any heat into the RV.

LED BULB SUGGESTIONS
Like I said in the video. These light fixtures are beautiful but come with incandescent bulbs. So I thought I’d give you guys a couple of suggestions for some LED’s. We chose the first link for our LED bulbs. The LeMeng LED bulbs. Feel free to search for your own color tone if these two choices don’t work for you. Just make sure they are 921 LED bulbs.

POWER TOOLS
I thought I’d add this screw gun, battery and charger just in case you’re just starting out and don’t have one yet or the one you currently have is a piece of junk like my previous one was. This DEWALT Drill / Driver Kit will be the most used tool you’ll have in your tool box. Every RVer needs one of these and this DEWALT is the best IMO. It’s light weight, but a beast.
