Ice Cream + Booze = Delicious! Go Forth and Make a GLORIOUS FOURTH!

One of the original ice cream cocktails, this recipe dates back to 1892 when it was published in William Schmidt’s cocktail book, The Flowing Bowl. I’ve adapted it a bit to modern tastes, and it makes a truly decadent dessert drink.

Ingredients:
50ml (1 ⅔ oz) brandy
10ml (⅓ oz) Jamaican rum
20ml (⅔ oz) lime juice
10ml (⅓ oz) sugar syrup (can be adjusted depending how sweet your ice cream is)
1 scoop vanilla ice cream
Glass: coupe
Garnish: lime zest

Method:
Add all of your ingredients to shaker tins, add ice and shake. Double strain into chilled glass and grate lime zest over the top. Could also be blended.
