There's nothing worse than AD Horror Stories, especially from Rolex, a brand whose crown logo represents regality and symbolizes power and prestige. People assume that buying watches from an authorized dealer is a great way to go but you'd be surprised about some of the horrible customer service experiences some watch collectors have had. How exactly do you deal with it? I'll give you some of my thoughts on today's Episode 119 of Q&A Tuesday. 𝙒𝙃𝙊 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙃𝙀𝙇𝙇 𝙄𝙎 𝙂𝙀𝙍𝘼𝙇𝘿 𝙂𝙀𝙉𝙏𝘼?

One of the questions I'll be addressing in this video is about why Gerald Genta watches are cheaper than other brands. While I'll discuss this in further detail in the video, I thought I would educate you a little on who this brilliant man is, just in case you don't already know.

Gerald Genta is a Swiss watch designer and artist. He was born in Geneva, Switzerland, where many watches inspired by his design continue to be made. He knew he wanted to work with watches ever since he was a kid and he went on to design the MOST popular watches many wear and know of today. His most notable watch design is the Royal Oak that made for Audemars Piguet in 1972. This would be considered the first luxury steel sports watch in the world. (Keep in mind that the Royal Oak Offshore was designed much later and by someone else.) Today's bronze watches also owe their popularity to Genta. He created the first bronze watch in 1984. Genta unfortunately passed in 2011 at the age of 80.
