In the spring of 2017 Duane Peters posted on Instagram that he was going to be getting the U.S. Bombs back together with a completely new crew. Political, personal and professional differences between the former bandmates caused the inability for them to agree on a way to bring the old Bombs back together, and would mark the first inception of the band without Kerry Martinez on guitar.

U.S. Bombs West Coast Tour - Summer 2017 including the "It's Not Dead" festival. Duane has announced that a new 7" of Clash covers is recorded and slated to be released on Slope Records in 2017. He has also stated that he intends to record a new full length and US tour in 2018.
