Belkin’s Premium 10k mAh Qi2 Bank Fails to Justify Its Price Tag

Belkin wants $100 for this Qi2 MagSafe charger. I wanted better efficiency, faster charging, and lower temps. Instead, I got mid-tier performance in a bigger-than-average body. Here’s the breakdown.

-Belkin claims this is a 10k battery bank with 38.5 Wh's of power
-Most claim 10k with 36Wh
-unlike the laptop version, the voltage accuracy and stability PDO's for the Qi2 pack aren't killer,
-borderline mid
-No PPS rates which isn't a big deal for a wireless pack

-in my real world capacity tests
-pack would constantly drop down to 5V after 15 mins or so
-on average, I was able to pull 25.1 Wh's from the pack
-which is a bit higher than what i've seen over the last two packs
-BUT it does come a cost, I'll get in to it

-for recharging
-the pack took in 46.9Wh which is a lot and like the normal battery bank, took almost 4 hours to do so
-that's borderline crazy to me. I get that this pack is probably going to be plugged in most of the time but still...

-when it came to wireless charging, this pack was a pusher, giving my iPhone a 27% or 3.7Wh charge, average is 21
-BUT it did run way hotter at almost 62.5C
-so to give the iPhone 3.7 Wh, it took the pack 4.9Wh so that's an decent efficiency ratio of 76
-ran hot
-metallic kickstand gets really hot
-size wise, this thing is above average when compared to other 10k packs
-especially when compared to the next pack I'm going to cover, the Baseus 5k
