Archbishop Emeritus of the Archdiocese of Jaro, Iloilo, Philippines.
He was the Global Spiritual Director of Bukas-Loob sa Diyos Covenant Community from 1998 to 2020.
Angel N Lagdameo was born on Aug. 2, 1940 in Lucban, Quezon. A graduate of San Jose Seminary, Ateneo de Manila University, he was ordained priest for the Diocese of Lucena on Dec. 19, 1964.
Appointed as the Bishop of Dumaguete on May 1989.
Appointed as the Archbishop of Jaro by Pope John Paul II on May 9, 2000
CBCP president from December 2005 to December 2009.
