Chelsea Pensioners to Get Ensuite Rooms 06.11.13

The world famous Royal Hospital Chelsea is getting a refit, including a refurbishment of its original wards.

Residents will be moved to temporary accommodation, including bespoke portacabins.

Thirty-six of them will be joined together to house 50 Chelsea pensioners for the next two years.

The £30,000,000 project aims to provide all the veterans with an ensuite room by 2016.
