The Irradiating of the Daigo Fukuryū Maru (Lucky Dragon #5)

On the 1st of March 1954, the United States of America would detonate their largest bomb in history, the Castle Bravo Hydrogen Bomb. Not far away, the F/V Daigo Fukuryū Maru or Lucky Dragon #5 was fishing for Tuna, completely unaware that they would be the very first victims of the Hydrogen bomb. The event, would inspire the Godzilla movies, which often carried an anti-nuclear weapon message. It sparked a debate about the usage of Nuclear Weapons that lasts to this day.
