Nuremberg Trial Day 210 (1946) Dr. Robert Servatius Closing Arguments on Leadership Corp.

On Aug. 23, 1946, Dr. Robert Servatius concluded his Closing Arguments on behalf of the Leadership Corp. He covered such topics as Hitler's Proclamations concerning Peace, Conditions in the Concentration Camp, Relationship to Religion, Persecution of the Jews, Prisoners of War and Foreign Workers and Downed Allied Fliers. "No one who appeared before the Tribunal has attempted to justify the crimes which are the subject matter of this trial." This Trial "must inaugurate an era of new international law and punish those who are responsible for the war."
