Nuremberg Trial Day 166 (1946) Hans Fritzsche Cross Gen. Roman Rudenko (AM)

On June 28, 1946, Gen. Roman Rudenko, Chief Prosecutor of the Soviet Union, commenced his cross-examination of Hans Fritzsche. He testified that German propaganda spread the racial theory "But I deny most emphatically that German propaganda had made preparations for, of had called for, the mass murder of the Jews." He confessed that he enjoyed the complete confidence of Goebbels and carried the duties in the Ministry of Propaganda with fullest powers.
