If you haven't downloaded your Careblazer Survival guide yet, you can do so here: https://app.convertkit.com/landing_pages/366531?v=7
Join the Care Course and get specific tools, information, support, exclusive videos, access to me, and so much more. Last chance to join is November 3rd by midnight EST. https://www.careblazers.com/sales-page-UltimateCareCourse
If you aren't sure whether or not you're a good fit and want to ask me a question about joining the course, send an email to natali@careblazers.com before the deadline.
Welcome to Careblazers TV!
This is the place where we talk about anything dementia, such as how to manage caregiver stress and how to deal with difficult dementia behaviors. No matter what type of dementia your loved one has (Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, Lewy Body dementia, frontotemporal dementia, etc.), this is your spot for information and resources!
In today's video, I talk about a simple way to avoid the trap of arguing with your LOWD. Many times when we try to use reasoning with someone with dementia, it doesn't seem to work. We have to learn how to respond to our loved ones with dementia in ways that make sense to them, not to us. This video goes over how to do just that.
Here's a video I did on whether it's "bad" to lie to someone with dementia: https://youtu.be/kpa818lOTP8
