The saddest embrace: Why were these children buried together 5,000 years ago?

At a location in East Yorkshire, the bodies of three young children who died nearly 5,000 years ago are buried together.

Two of the children appear to buried facing each other with a third older child embracing them.

The remains give a powerful insight into lives of ancient native Britons who lived thousands of years before the birth of Christ.

Alongside the children was found a toy chalk drum dubbed "the most important piece of prehistoric art".

The finds are part of a new exhibition - the World of Stonehenge - that goes on show at the British Museum this week.
