To quickly and efficiently transform clips without the need for the inspector panel in Davinci Resolve, follow these simple steps. Begin by adding an image to your timeline. Instead of accessing the inspector panel, which can be time-consuming, we can make changes directly from the viewer.

To initiate these transformations, click on the image in the viewer and select "transform" from the drop-down menu at the bottom. Now, you will notice handles around the image that you can easily manipulate. For precise adjustments, you can change the position, zoom, rotation, and other properties using the inspector panel. However, if you prefer a more streamlined approach, you can freely make these changes directly from the viewer.

To modify the position, simply click and drag the image to the desired location. For proportional resizing, utilize one of the four edges of the image, while for non-proportional resizing, use one of the four middle points. To rotate the image, grab the topmost point and drag it left or right. Additionally, you can change the anchor point by dragging the middle point. To reset all the settings, click on the reset button located next to the transform option. If you wish to animate these transformations, position the play head at the beginning, click on the diamond button next to transform, then move the play head forward and apply size, position, or rotation changes as desired. By repeating this process, you can create a simple but effective transform animation. Finally, to remove the controls, click on the transform button at the bottom of the viewer.
