so I take my D500 and my nikkor af-s 200-500mm lens to a new nature reserve in North Wiltshire and such a vast area to discover, I only touched a small piece of this reserve and its 30 minutes drive away.
the brown hare has been catalogued here as well as the Deer so I was hopeful of a successful hare hunt, but after 6 hours and not seeing one hare, but a very successful Deer encounter I decided to go back to the car and stop at a place where I saw a couple that morning. and I'm glad I did . and I finally got the hare footage I've been after for the last 3 weeks..
