A day in the life of a nesting grey heron. nikon D500.
I go to my favorite nature reserve to do some Wildlife photography with my D500 in hand to capture the grey Heron nesting, infact I got both of the heron on the nest , they share the incubation period and they will not leave the nest unattended. I got the heads up about this by a subscriber who frequents the same reserve 4 weeks back , I was hoping the eggs might of hatched but by observing there behaviour I'm guessing I was just a day or two early . I will do a revisit in a couple of weeks to see how both parent and fledglings are doing.
