A way out of the mirror began with Geoffrey Farmer’s discovery of two unpublished press photographs dating back to 1955 that depict a collision between a train and a lumber truck driven by his paternal grandfather.

“Geoffrey has opened it up into a kind of courtyard that evokes multiple sites tied to his own personal and familial history and, beyond that, to other charged spaces and memories.
