Kotlin Design - To Subclass or not to Subclass with Tim Schraepen

We ran into some problems with Java NullPointerExceptions in Part 17 (https://youtu.be/A79s41eRuWg). Tim Schraepen suggested in the comments that if we had two Item types, with and without sell by dates, then the type system would force us to do the right thing, so we got together to pair to see how that turns out.
