You can clearly see from these shots all the little buttresses to play on which is what makes Halls Fell ridge so much fun!
Just like Sharp Edge, the slate can be very greasy in the wet but with the toughest sections avoidable it can be completed in less than ideal conditions.

Halls Fell ridge also makes an excellent winter adventure for an experienced winter walker.
