This is a 27-minute video of the second quarter of the May 9, 1982 National Basketball Association Eastern Conference Final Game 1 between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Celtics at the Garden, won by Boston, 121-81.
It is from the CBS Sports broadcast, with Dick Stockton on play by play and Bill Russell on color.
This was the famous Mother's Day Massacre, and while the Boston victory was a result chiefly of Robert Parish (see what I did there?) and Larry Bird, big man Rick Robey entered a few minutes into the second quarter and went on an absolute tear, scoring 15 of his 19 points. Enjoy. It's just as wild and crazy the second time around!
