Feeding & Playing w. a Family of Wild Canada Geese we Have Been Caring for Since Their Mother Died

* MINI VERSION OF OUR STORY*:
After the parents (and three goslings) were killed by a predator, we have been "raising" a family of geese since they were one week old. Just an FYI- we NEVER feed them bread (contrary to popular belief, bread is NOT suitable ducks or geese, as it contains no nutrients). However, they grabbed a piece of the bread Bree was eating so we gave them a few tiny pieces. We give them occasional fruit or veggie snacks, but they primarily graze on grass and vegetation and do not need to be cared for. They bring us so much joy and it has been a once in a lifetime, memorable experience.

DISCLAIMER: *DO NOT* approach geese. They are wild, and can often be very territorial, especially when raising young and are generally not friendly to humans. Even though we spend a great deal of time with these geese, they are very nasty to any other humans except us, who they know and trust. While they look like adult geese, they are only two months old and still "babies" :)
