"Growing Up Gosling" - My 6 Months Befriending a Family of Wild Canada Geese & Goslings

They are doing great. They generally migrate in mid November, and every spring come back 'home'. This year, two of the "babies" found parters and had their own babies! There was a bit of a hiccup with one of the geese after they ingested rodenticide (which was likely a run-off that contaminated a water supply). The craziest part is by some miracle she showed up in our front lawn, my neighbors & I noticed her behavior was very off & were able to get her help. Thanks to the incredible vets at New England Wildlife Hospital, she survived and is back to her healthy self with her goose fam ❤️

My amazing time spent with interacting with a family of Canada geese, raised by the father goose. I cannot explain how this experience impacted me, and has since drawn me towards pursing a side 'career' in wildlife rehab.
