Eugenio C foi requisitado para o serviço sul-americano pela Costa ( Liner C ), em substituição ao Frederico C nessa rota. Por dez anos, ela só operou viagens transatlânticas entre Gênova e a América do Sul , até que o carregamento de passageiros caiu rapidamente na década de 1970, quando o Eugenio C começou a navegar . Depois de 1983, cruzava o Oceano Atlântico duas vezes por ano em uma viagem de reposicionamento. A Costa vendeu o Eugenio Costa aos estaleiros Bremer Vulcan em troca da construção da Costa Victoria. Em 1999 Cammell Laird fretou o navio para Premier Cruises , renomeando-a The Big Red Boat ao lado de seus companheiros de frota Rembrandt e Big Red Boat. O Big Red Boat II foi vendido à Argo Ship Management , que a manteve no mercado. Em 2005, era óbvio que as empresas de cruzeiros não estavam dispostas a se arriscar com ela devido ao seu histórico de problemas mecânicos. A embarcação foi renomeada para Red Boat , parando nos Açores para reabastecer antes de ser desmantelada em sucata de Alang.

For ten years, it only operated transatlantic voyages between Genoa and South America, until the passenger load dropped rapidly in the 1970s, when Eugenio C started sailing. After 1983, he crossed the Atlantic Ocean twice a year on a repositioning trip. Costa sold Eugenio Costa to the Bremer Vulcan shipyards in exchange for the construction of the Costa Victoria. In 1999 Cammell Laird chartered the ship for Premier Cruises, renaming it The Big Red Boat alongside his fellow fleet members Rembrandt and Big Red Boat. The Big Red Boat II was sold to Argo Ship Management, which kept it on the market. In 2005, it was obvious that cruise lines were not willing to take chances with her due to their history of mechanical problems. The vessel was renamed Red Boat, stopping in the Azores to refuel before being dismantled in Alang scrap.
