Chinatown Kota Bharu – I’m exploring around there and was trying Hokkien Pan Mee & Chinese kuih

There is one part of Kota Bharu that is a bit different then the rest of the city: Chinatown. It’s really interesting to visit this part of the city as it’s totally different than the rest of Kota Bharu, which is a Muslim city. Many cities in Malaysia have a Chinatown and many Malay people have also Chinese roots. There is s big Chinese community here in Malaysia.

Let’s explore around the Chinatown here in Kota Bharu Malaysia and see what we can find. I end up trying some Hokkien Pan Mee, which is a Chinese noodle dish and some Chinese kuih. Did I like it?

When you travel southeast Asia, you are probably going to end up in some Chinatowns all around southeast Asia. Many cities around southeast Asia have Chinatowns, a place in the city where the Chinese community is living. Normally each Chinatown is a really awesome and interesting place to explore. I can highly recommend you checking out some Chinatowns while you are traveling southeast Asia, try some chinse food and experience a part of their culture. Although the Chinatown here in Kota Bharu is rather small, it was still a really nice experience.
