JORDAN WITH SEMESTER AT SEA | Amman, Petra, Aqaba, Wadi Rum & Dead Sea
What a dream of a life was this whole trip. Jordan has so many amazing places that I wouldn't even know where to begin with. This was also one of our best-planned ports because Sammi's sister flew all the way from California just for this trip, so she did lots of research and planned the whole thing, and I will be forever grateful.
If Jordan wasn't on your travel list this is your sign to put it right at the top. Such an amazing country, and this was definitely the place with the best hospitality. Everyone was so kind, generous and always smiling. I also had the best meal of my life when we did a buffet right before Petra at Night, and to this day I am still dreaming about that food. Middle Eastern cuisine definitely became one of my favorite ones.
As for a challenge, would be to get scuba certified if you are interested in scuba diving and traveling. This is one of the things I wish I had done before Semester at Sea as there were so many amazing locations to scuba dive from. But because I wasn't certified I had to do the intro course every time, and wouldn't get to see more and deeper places. It is better to be safe than sorry, because you never know where in the world you may find yourself, but be limited to what you can do for not being scuba certified.
