Many of my shoots have been on location, some quite distant and some for days, weeks and even months. One thing I have noticed is that I always take certain things with me on such jobs and these 5 things will now be the norm for me.

I also take/will take them with me when we go on family trips, especially number 2. What a cool little beast!

Whether you are a photographer, filmmaker or drone pilot, I hope you find these things useful for your business or travels. Especially when flying drones. It's all about creativity, efficiency and fun : )

I found the results of my battery charging test quite surprising and useful and I hope you do too.

Charging Multiple Items with PowerOak AC50s

The PowerOak charges up to 11 items at once with a maximum power output of 300W. Always check to make sure your plugged in devices don't go over that figure or the internal inverter will shut down (other than from small surges).

So:

2 x DJI Mini 3 batteries = 74W (37W each)
1 x Smart Controller = 15W
5 x DJI Air 2s Batteries = 190W (38W each)

Total = 279W
