No other sports league in the world is more week to week and year to year than the NFL. The term any given Sunday is coined because of the fact that any team can win no matter the amount of talent on one side of the football. Teams rise and fall faster than any other and it’s difficult to be consistent in a league that needs your best every snap of the ball. But over the past few seasons, no team in the League has risen faster and fallen faster than the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars, who have been miserable for the last decade, shocked the entire league by winning the AFC South with a 10-6 record 2017, and then defeated both the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs before narrowly losing to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game. The team had a bright future ahead, and with an elite defense led by young star Corner Jalen Ramsey, Jacksonville was a few pieces away from a Super Bowl. But fast forward to present day 2020, and the Jaguars are going off back to back last place AFC South finishes and are looking back at another rebuild. But how exactly did we even get to this point?
