Air compressor tanker trailer gas engine

I got tired of idling my truck for 3-6 hours to run the pto so the trailer could be pressurized. I now habe a gas engine to do that. Half throttle will last 3 hours on one tank. I believe its a gallon tank. I hooked up a 4" pulley to a 12" pulley. The Briggs and Stratton 208cc engine full throttle will do 3800rpms. The air compressor needs 950rpms. The ratio 4 to 12 with 3/4 throttle will give out the 950rpms the air compressor needs. Google has the websites to find out the pulley ratio rpms.
