Minks Spreading New Coronavirus Strain to Humans in Denmark
Could minks be the next disease spreaders? Officials in Denmark are going to cull its captive population of the animal after they say a mutation of the coronavirus that was found in minks was also found in people. Five cases of a new virus have been found in minks and 12 in humans. Health officials are concerned because they say the new virus strains showed decreased sensitivity against antibodies.
