Rangers Protect Elephants Traveling in Search of Food
Elephants travel long distances in search of food, but in the African wilderness of southwest Kenya they’re not traveling alone. Not far away are Masai Mara rangers making sure these creatures aren’t stopped in their tracks by humans. The Masai Mara’s elephant corridor runs between Kenya and Tanzania. When resources dry up in one area, herds go on the move looking for sustenance. It’s a route well-known to poachers. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
