Trust Architecture Canvas: Design Reliable Systems, Including AI-Based Ones

To build a reliable architecture, we need to combine systems that break in different ways.

The video introduces the Trust Architecture Canvas, a practical tool for designing trustworthy systems.

It explains four steps:
1. Define the context where trust is needed,
2. Identify the possible trust systems that can support that context,
3. Design the architecture by combining systems with different failure patterns, and
4. Measure the shared trust level based on how reliably the architecture produces correct outcomes.

AI is presented as one possible trust system, alongside human expertise, policies, validation procedures, automation, and other controls—not necessarily as the main component.
