Weathering the Storm - Sustaining Our Healthcare System – Part 1 of 2

In April 2020, the number of #COVID19 cases exceeded 1000. This called for a national health strategy which saw the setting up of Community Care Facilities to provide clinical care for persons with mild to no symptoms and do not require acute hospital care. Such facilities augment Singapore's hospital capacity, ensuring that only those who need close and specialised medical attention, such as oxygen supplementation and intensive care, receive their medical care in hospitals.
