My name is Roxanne. I was born (in 1997) and raised in Curaçao (a small island in the Caribbean). Since the summer of 2016 I’ve been living in The Netherlands. Aside from my native language Papiamento, I speak Dutch as my second language and English as my third language. I have a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology. I love all things hair, fashion and makeup. I love to approach them in a minimal and effortless way while staying true to my personal style.

I have been natural all my life and I am definitely a curly hair enthusiast!
In October 2018 I did a pixie cut because I had a very negative emotional relationship with my hair and I needed a drastic change.
In February 2019 I had a buzz cut to support my mother because she lost all her hair because of chemotherapy. Then I just maintained my curly pixie.
In March 2020 I decided that I want to grow my hair out. I started my channel not only to document my journey to waist length hair, but to also post videos related to fashion, beauty, lifestyle and more.
