Small Tool Dust Collection Boom

I've wanted to build one of these for a while now, and that desire only grew more once I connected my biscuit jointer to my Festool vac. It's honestly the best thing to happen to me since buying the TS75 Track Saw. Then, I began to realize my other tools could also plug into the vac. My RO sander, my drill press (when sanding with cylinders) and my biscuit jointer.

Using the Festool vac was convenient, but also not. I already had a DC system in the shop, but there didn't seem to be a simple way to connect all the smaller tools to it.

And to make matters worse, the Festool hoses are insanely expensive.

Then last week I noticed on a forum the Bosch hose fits Festool tools perfectly, and it only costs $38!

Sold.
