Rich Brian - New Tooth | Drum Cover | Improving Improvising on Drums

This cover was maybe 20% rehearsed and 80% made up as I was going along. Improvising on drums is something I NEED to get better at, so when I went to record a bunch of drum covers the other week and had spare time at the end of my rehearsal session, I decided to jam along to the new (at the time) Rich Brain track, New Tooth. This song is so sick, Rich Brain is one of the best rappers of his generation.

I knew the song structure by this point, as well as the basic rhythyms. The fills, random stuff, soloing over just paino - all made up on the spot. Hence why some of it is garbage.
