Big up the King Grustler, a man who my girlfriend genuinely refers to as my boyfriend (because I enjoy his tweets and watch his Instagram clips/Twitch streams a lot), the beast who managed to tastefully write a paradiddle groove into a hardcore song, Craig Reynolds.

As stated above, this song is largely based around everyone's favourite rudiment, the paradiddle. The verses are constant paradiddles, except the fills, with a kick pattern layered underneath which happens to fall on alternating L/R strokes, to make it nice and easy for your brain to work out (sarcasm). The first time I heard this song, I knew Reynlord had knocked it out the flipping park. He's elevated one of my favourite bands in a way I didn't think was possible, as their previous drummer was also a monster player, Dan Bourke. But yeah, Craig, if you're reading, I both love and hate you for writing this song.

This cover isn't perfect, I mess up the footwork once or twice, sometimes I accent the snare when I'm not supposed to and my fills aren't exactly the same as those on the record. But I don't really care. I'm pleased with it, this song is a blast to play and I recommend you all give it a crack to see just how tough the non-syncopation between hands and feet is.
