Flash Photography for New Users (i.e. Nikon 3400, Canon T6i, Sony a6000, etc.)
NEW: follow me on instagram - https://www.instagram.com/realworldpicts/
If you are new to the world of DSLRs or mirrorless cameras, you may have tried to take a photo using the built-in flash in a relatively dark situation. Most likely, the resulting image was relatively standard ... subject took a straight-on harsh flash. Flash can do much more for you photography.
I am a fan of going without flash when possible, but sometimes a flash is needed for various reasons ... freeze motion, extremely dark situation, the desire for low ISO, etc. The built-in flash on most entry level cameras is relatively limited but serves a basic purpose. I demo the built-in flash on an entry level camera along with a budget speedlight which can be used to easily bounce flash and capture unique lighting.
This video is geared towards new users with entry level cameras (i.e. Nikon D3300, D3400, Canon T5i, T6i, Sony a6000, a6300, etc.), but may help any user new to flash photography.
