The 14th Beijing International Film Festival (BJIFF) is 10 days away. The official on Monday unveiled “As Spring Comes Along,” a 10-minute film directed by China’s Gu Xiaogang. The film weaves the tale of a pair of former lovers who reunite in their hometown, reminiscing about the past and contemplating the future through their shared love for cinema.

Scheduled to take place from April 18 to 26, this year’s BJIFF promises a record-breaking scale with 4,273 entries from 118 countries and regions and 15 finalists for the prestigious Tiantan awards. Stay tuned.
