The History of Daffodil Weekend on Nantucket with Mary Malavase and Suzanne Daub

Mary D. Malavase is a member of the Nantucket Garden Club. She serves on the Board of the American Daffodil Society as Youth Chairman, and is an Accredited Daffodil Judge and Judge School Instructor. A year round resident of Nantucket for 48 years, she has attended every island daffodil flower show since the first show in 1975.

Suzanne Daub is editor of Yesterday’s Island/Today’s Nantucket and Nantucket.net. Suzanne has shared her love of our island with readers in print since 1982 and online since 1994. Daffodil season is her favorite time of year here, and she loves chatting with Mary about the bright blossoms that grow across Nantucket.
