BREAD FRUIT CHIPS & BOILED/FRY BREADFRUIT GUYANESE STYLE

Ingredients for FRIED BREAD FRUIT CHIPS
1 large Bread Fruit
oil for frying
salt to taste

Instructions:
peel and wash breadfruit, then cut into 4 or 8 pieces after that slice all pieces very thin, next in a large pan heat oil, add sliced breadfruit and fry until golden brown, serve hot with any sauce of your choice.

Ingredients for BOILED AND FRIED BREADFRUIT
1 BreadFruit
1 Onion
2 stems scallions/eschalot
2 stalk celery
3 wire wire peppers (any hot peppers of ur choice)
1 tbsp chopped fine thyme
1 Garlic cluster
2 cubes (chicken or vegetarian)
salt to taste

Instructions:

Peel and wash breadfruit, cut into bite-size pieces, then wash and chop all ingredients, fill a pot with water and put to boil, when it starts boiling add salt and add breadfruit pieces, boil until tender, strain.

frying
in a pot add 2 tbsp oil let it heat up then add chopped/crushed garlic, fine thyme, peppers, onion and let it fry for 1 min them add some water and let it cook for 1 min or to let the water evaporate a little, add boiled breadfruit and turn it to mix all ingredients well cook for 1-2 mins then add celery and eschalot. serve with salted fish stew or any side dish of ur choice
