In this Jazz Drum Q-Tip of the Week, I am celebrating the life of drummer great Aaron Spears by reacting to his Zildjian Live! performance. I also talk about his life and career to make sure everyone really knows how extraordinary he truly was. Though he only lived to age 47, Aaron Spears has left an indelible mark on the music community around the world, especially the drumming community. His legacy will live on through his music. I send my deepest condolences and prayers to his family and those who were close to him. Rest in Power brother Aaron (1976-2023)
