Ship ALGOMA CONVEYOR passes the under-scrap MANISTEE, Welland Canal (June 17, 2023)

The ship MANISTEE is seen under scrap at Port Colborne, Welland Canal, while the upbound ALGOMA CONVEYOR cruises by.
Photos and videos taken June 7 and June 17, 2023.
On June 7, 2023, MANISTEE was still sitting along the east wall of the Welland Canal, where she has been since she arrived here at MRC, under tow, on Mar. 30, 2022; her port was against the wall, and her bow was facing south (ie upbound) with her starboard profile fully visible from the west side of the canal.
While remaining at this position (in water) some scrapping was done - pilothouse removed, boom removed, bow hull removal started.
On June 14, 2023, MANISTEE was towed a bit farther back from her position, into the MRC scrap slip. She was manoeuvred bow-first into the scrap slip ramp, where she would be pushed-pulled onto a series of roller airbags and beached on land to continue the demolition process.
As seen on Jun 17, now her port profile is visible.
